Meet 21 year old Vincent Buzzettta, a Staten Island native and cake extraordinaire! At just 21 years young, Buzzetta is the newest, and might we mention, youngest, artist to be on “Amazing Wedding Cakes” which airs Sunday nights at 10 pm on WEtv. Owner and Executive pastry chef of “The Cake Artist” in Staten Island, Buzzetta received his training at the prestigious French Culinary Institute of New York City. In upcoming months, Vincent Buzzetta will star in his own show “Staten Island Cakes” which will be exclusively about all the craziness and creativity of his cake shop.
Eye PR Media was lucky enough to catch an interview with Vincent Buzzetta amidst his busy schedule of being a cake shop owner, artist, and now, television star.
At just just 21 years old, how does it feel to be not only the youngest on “Amazing Wedding Cakes” but to also have your own cake shop “The Cake Artist”?
Vincent: I think it’s pretty incredible to be the youngest person on “Amazing Wedding Cakes” and unless someone younger goes on the show, I set the bar and I think that is pretty impressive for my age. It’s really really exciting, I have always wanted to be on television and when I opened up “The Cake Artist”, my dream was to have my own show and now I do!
What are your specialties as a cake artist?
I like to do really personalized cakes, I don’t really like to do the traditional wedding cake with flowers. I like when clients come to me and they have a background story or they just want something really personal. I’m really good at picking people’s brains apart and figuring out exactly what they want. I really love custom cakes.
What is the weirdest cake you’ve ever been asked to create?
Someone asked me to create a cake with male and female private parts for her fiancee the day before Thanksgiving and it was going to be served on Thanksgiving Day! That was definetly the weirdest.
When did you realize you had a gift as a Cake Artist?
I always loved to bake and I just have a crazy passion for dessert and I always have since I was a little kid. I think I was just born with it because it’s like a second nature to me.
What can we expect to see on the future episodes of “Amazing Wedding Cakes” that you will appear on?
I am only featured on 3 episodes this season but when my own show, “Staten Island Cakes” premieres, it is going to be hilarious! You can expect a lot of drama, and a lot of laughs, it is going to be great! I really believe we have taken a cake show to a whole new level and I guarantee no cake show will be like mine! All my staff is younger than 25 so sometimes it’s like a circus, we joke around all the time and have fun so it’s going to be a real comedy show. We’ve done so many cool things and so many amazing cakes for so many big names, I can’t wait for everyone to see.
Eye PR Media wishes Vincent Buzzetta and everyone at “The Cake Artist” endless success and happiness from “Amazing Wedding Cakes” and “Staten Island Cakes” to beyond! We cannot WAIT to hear about all your future projects!

Your the best and the cutest. Love the show and especially the black and white cake. Very sophisticated and as my BF said, only a gay boy could do something that elegant. I concur.
Keep up the good work and we look forward to seeing your new show, Staten Island Cakes.
Hugs.
Cool show. Good luck.
